SAMPLER MEATS WITH VEGETABLE AND STARCH
This is great to share of you want a good light lunch without getting too full. We split it between two people and ordered the oxtail, jerk chicken, and curry chicken for meats…Mac n cheese, rice and plantains for small sides.
OXTAIL
The best. I’m Vietnamese so we eat a lot of oxtail in our cuisine… This matches it. So dang tasty. The meat was so tender and flavorful.
JERK CHICKEN
It was nicely flavored but I’m not a white meat person at all. Just not enough juice for me but that’s not their fault. My friend wanted it so he ate most of it.
CURRY CHICKEN
The sauce is a little spicy, the most perfect kick to pair with the oxtail and regular chicken. The best was dark and juicy, the yellow sauce just a winner.
PLANTAINS
Goods plantains. Not as soft as I usually like but still good.
PINEAPPLE GINGER JUICE
Ummmm whoaaa amazeballs. It’s really really ginger-y. The pineapple helps offset the ginger spice… making it extremely delicious but it is not a subtle drink by any means. A must try.
LEMONADE
very light and refreshing.
SERVICE
Exceptional. Really. As soon as we walked through the door the owner greeted us with a huge smile and welcome attitude. His wife and staff are the same.
